WWE Raw viewership down, 18-49 demo rating rises

Last night's raw numbers were mixed considering the total viewership was the lowest since the end of the pro season, but the 18-49 and 18-34 ratings beat last week's episode which featured both John Cena and Logan Paul.

The show drew 1.71 million viewers in a three-hour average with a 0.53 rating in 18-49 and a 0.35 in 18-34.

Raw is second on the cable behind Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors NBA game that attracted 1.88 million viewers and 0.59 in 18-49, breaking the first time for Raw that started almost two months. The Warriors game continued for the third hour. ESPN also broadcast the Dallas Mavericks vs. The Memphis Grizzlies vs. the first two hours of Raw and Raw won this match which attracted 1.22 million viewers and a 0.38 rating. FS1 drew 721,000 viewers and a 0.27 for USA vs. Canada in the World Baseball Classic against the third hour with 394,000 viewers and 0.14 for Puerto Rico against Israel against the first two hours.

Raw won all of Network TV head-to-head at 18-49 except The Voice on NBC against the first two hours of Raw, though Raw trailed The Bachelor on ABC at 18-34.

Raw and Under Deck tied for first in women 18-49, second only to NBA Finals in men 18-49, second only to NBA Finals in 18-34, tied with NBA Finals for first in women 12-34, and finished second in NBA play in men 12-34. Raw was 10th on cable in total views behind NBA games and eight news shows.

It was down 7% in views from last week's show, but up 2% in 18-49 and 6% in 18-34.

Over the past year, Raw has grown 0.3% in views, but 10% in 18-49 and 30% in 18-34, so Raw is attracting a much larger audience than in the same period. Considering the loss of family cable, the number of viewers will increase by 6%, by 17% in 18-49 and by 37% in 18-34, so these are still huge value compared to the same week last year.

In the main event built around Kevin Owens vs. Solo Sikoa in the street fight, the first to the third hour drop is normal. Women 18-49 down 11%, men 18-49 up 2% (uncommon), women 12-34 down 14%, men 12-49 34 fell by 8% and those over 50 fell by 16%.

The three hours are:

8 p.m. 1.78 million viewers

9 hours 1.76 million viewers

10 p.m. 1.58 million viewers
