Rinku Singh smashed six sixes in the last five overs as KKR stunned Gujarat Titans by three wickets in IPL 2023.

Kolkata Knight Riders star Rinku Singh produced a spectacular performance in the match against Gujarat Titans on Sunday night. With only 28 runs required from the last five deliveries of the match, Rinku hit Yash Dayal for straight sixes to lead the Knight Riders to a stunning victory in Ahmedabad.

Interestingly, Rinku won 9 out of 14 deliveries and 19 rounds of chasing before his power started. The left-handed batsman ended up winning 48 deliveries in 21 deliveries.

However, Rinku's attack leaves Rashid and the entire Titans team stunned, and Yash Dayal is stunned at the event. Dayal buried his head and sat in the dugout for a long time as he was consoled by the rest of the Titans team and several KKR players.

"It was a nail-biting finish, extremely happy that we won the game. Our coach has always said that we can score 200 on any given day. Honestly, the wicket was quite good to bat. When the target is 200, you can't have silent overs. I was just trying to execute my plans," Venkatesh Iyer, who also scored a brilliant 83 off just 40 balls in the chase, said after the match.

“Me and Nitish had a good partnership. Unfortunately, somewhere we lost our way but Lord Rinku saved the day. To be honest, we still believed that we could win. This teaches us that we should never give up until the last ball.”

KKR will face Sunrisers Hyderabad when they return to Kolkata on April 14.
