Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan has revealed that
Dhoni is already planning to retire as captain and is waiting for the right
moment. "He announced the decision at a team meeting today after training.
But he has already figured it out. MS thinks that Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja) is
ready to take the mantle and take the lead in its best form, "said CSK CEO
on sports channel.
According to the report, CSK insiders said they were shocked
when Dhoni informed the CEO this morning of his decision. He also said he would
like to speak with President of India Cements and former President of the
Cricket Control Council of India (BCCI) N. Srinivasan.

At 10 a.m., a request was made by Srinivasan's office of the
CSK team's CEO in Mumbai. In the afternoon, Dhoni called Mr. Srinivasan and
informed him of his decision. People near Dhoni say that Srinivasan was also
surprised at first, but at the end of the conversation he understood. The call
lasted about 10 minutes.
After the phone call, Dhoni informed the entire team at the
team meeting of his decision, as did Virat Kohli when he left Captain Trial
earlier this year. At the players' meeting, Ravindra Jadeja was announced as
the captain of CSK.

The only time Dhoni saw the eyes read at the public meeting
was in 2018, when CSK returned to the IPL. Young, he was emotional and saw the
connection. It's Chennai's own 'Thala' that can never go wrong. He is the
captain of their souls; they believe he is 'Invictus' and why not? No IPL
franchise was included in the nine finals of the IPL in 12 issues (please note
that they were suspended twice).
His captain's art is based on two basic features - common
sense and instinct. It is common sense that T20 cricket games do not get too
complicated when setting up a template and setting it up properly.

Instinct comes with a clear idea of which player will be
able to perform specific tasks and what he sees in it? Lots of courage and a
bit of gaming. He never relied on analytics, long and tortuous team meetings, a
'team catalyst', a baseball coach as a strong player and kind expressions.
He therefore relies on proven international players and
adapted some at home. Whether it's Dwayne Bravo or Faf du Plessis, or Josh
Hazlewood, or as Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Jadeja or Ruturaj Gaikwad, they
are selected based on the specific roles they can play each year.
