The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated the Royal Challengers
Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday in 23 runs in match 22 of the ongoing IPL 2022
season at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. In what was also the first
CSK victory of the season, Shivam Dube played an invincible knockout of 95 runs
with 46 balls to help his team record 216 on four of the 20 overs.
He partnered with Robin Uthappa on 165 runs and achieved 88
out of 50 deliveries. In an effort to score 217 runs, the RCB managed to
collect only 193 for nine out of 20 overs, while Maheesh Theekshana of CSK
scored four goals in four overs.

IPL 2022 Points Table
Rajasthan Royals (RR) is currently at the top of the IPL
2022 points table with six points out of four matches. They were followed by
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in second place, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in
third place and Gujarat Titans (GT) in fourth place.
RCB is fifth, followed by Delhi Capitals (DC) in sixth,
Punjab Kings (PBKS) in seventh and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in eighth.
Meanwhile, CSK is ninth and Mumbai Indians (MI) are in the
table of 10 teams.

Orange Cap Race
Jos Buttler still leads the Orange Cap race with 218 races
and is followed by Dube (207 runs). Robin Uthappa (194) was third, Quinton de
Kock (188) in fourth place and Shubman Gill (187) in fifth place. Purple cap
plant
Yuzvendra Chahal led the pack with 11 goals and Umesh Yadav
(10) finished second in the Purple Cap. Third was Kuldeep Yadav with 10 goals,
fourth Waninda Hasaranga (10) and and T Natarajan (8) is fifth.
