The five-time Mumbai Indians champion barely left the Indian
Premier League (IPL) 2022 playoffs for the second year in a row. Champion Rohit
Sharma should still score after losing the first eight games of the season.
The MI will have to win all of their remaining six games in
the IPL 2022 with a big lead if they want to have a free chance to qualify for
the Playoffs. They have NRR -1, which makes the situation more difficult for
former champions.

If the current top 5 teams score 14 points, it will not be
possible to qualify for the MI, as the best they can get now is a maximum of 12
points.
Remaining MI matches against: Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat
Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and
Delhi Capitals.

The new captain, Ravindra Jadeja, failed to follow MS Dhoni's
legacy, although the former captain last week helped lead to an impossible
victory against the Mumbai Indians. Like Indian Mumbai, CSK must win all six of
its matches.
CSK can also qualify by winning five of the six matches, but
they must hope for another comparison that is advantageous. Their remaining
matches against: SRH, Royal Challengers Bangalore, DC, MI, GT and RR.
