Pat Cummins gave the ball more than bats to secure the
Kolkata Knight Riders crushing a 5-goal victory against the Mumbai Indians in
IPL 2022 in Pune.

After winning 162, thanks to the final on 23 runs from
Cummins, KKR attacked home in just 16 overs, thanks to an undefeated 15-ball 56
from the Australian pacer.
Cummins all scored in Daniel Sams' 16th over bowling. He hit
a total of four fours and six sixes. He raised his fifty to 14 balls, a record
for the fastest half-century in the IPL.
Venkatesh Iyer opener played a major role with the
invincibility of 41 balls 50.

Earlier, after winning the draw, KKR MI recorded a return
from 55 to three in 11 to 161 for four. In Mumbai, comeback man Suryakumar
Yadav made 52 of the 36 balls, while Tilak Varma made 38 of the 27 deliveries.

But the undefeated 22 of Kieron Pollard's five balls earned
the score respectably.
In response, KKR continued to lose goals at regular
intervals, even though Iyer kept the tip. At 83/4, KKR struggled, but Cummins'
blitzkrieg jumped to the top of the table with three wins in four games.
