Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians are set to battle against each other in their next match of IPL 2023. SRH vs MI, match 25 of IPL 2023, takes place on April 18 (Tuesday).

The venue of the encounter is Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Aiden Markram is the skipper of SRH in IPL 2023 while Rohit Sharma is the captain of Mumbai Indians. Both teams won their previous games in IPL 2023.

Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in their last match of IPL 2023. Batting first in the match, SRH shattered a marvellous total of 228-4 with an unbeaten century by Harry Brook (100*). Aiden Markram also added crucial 50 runs.

Later, skipper Nitish Rana scored a stunning knock of 71 runs for KKR. Rinku Singh (58*) also scored a half-century. However, KKR could only reach 205-7 in 20 overs and lost the match by 23 runs. Marco Jansen and Mayank Markande hunted 2 wickets each for SRH.

Mumbai Indians also crushed Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous game of IPL 2023. Batting first in the match, Venkatesh Iyer (104) scored an impeccable century to take KKR’s scoreboard to 185-6 in 20 overs.

Later, Mumbai Indians lost opener Rohit Sharma cheaply for 20 runs. However, Ishan Kishan (58), Suryakumar Yadav (43), Tilak Varma (30), and Tim David (24) slammed important knocks to help the team to chase down the target within 18 overs.
