LSG vs MI Today Match Prediction- Eliminator, Who Will Win Today’s IPL Match?

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) take on each other in the IPL 2023 Eliminator in Chennai on Wednesday, May 24. The winner of this match will play Qualifier 2 for a place in the final. The lower will be eliminated from the tournament. The IPL 2023 final will be played in Ahmedabad on May 28. 

LSG defeated KKR by one run in a cliffhanger of a contest to win the match. They negated the Rinku Singh threat to make their way into the playoffs in back-to-back seasons. MI, on the other hand, defeated SRH by 8 wickets in a chase of 200 and won with 12 balls to spare. Cameron Green scored his maiden IPL ton to help Mumbai finish fourth on the table. 

Speaking about IPL 2023, all 10 teams played 14 games during the tournament, including home and away games. Four teams who finished in the top four spots in the points table qualified for playoffs. Gujarat Titans are the defending champions of IPL 2023 and also were the first team to qualify for the playoffs.

Each franchise played five teams twice and four teams just once in the IPL 2023 season. The top 4 teams who reached the playoffs are GT, CSK, LSG, and MI. Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings are among the three franchises from the original teams to never have won the IPL. RCBs were eliminated after they lost to GT in the final league game of IPL 2023. That meant MI became the fourth team to make the playoffs.
