Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is enjoying a great
season at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr and his career seems to be growing in
popularity after leaving English club Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo in
the Saudi Pro League match against Al-Wehda scored four goals in the match.
During the match, we saw an interesting moment where the
match referee Sultan Al-Harbi asked Ronaldo to sign the match ball after
Ronaldo scored 4 goals in the match. Al-Harbi awarded Ronaldo a penalty and
allowed him to complete his 61st career hat-trick. The referee was also asked
to look at VAR as the penalty he awarded to Ronaldo was based on a handball
incident.
Ronaldo's first two goals of the tournament came easily
after he broke Al-Wehda's offside trap. Ronaldo then had the chance to complete
his hat-trick after receiving a penalty from the referee for a handball
incident. Ronaldo missed the penalty and scored the 61st hat-trick of his
career.
Until now, Cristiano Ronaldo has not been at the top level
in the Saudi Pro League after joining Al-Nassr in December last year. The club
has won one league since his arrival. Al-Nassr signed Cristiano Ronaldo in a
contract worth 173 million per year.
Ronaldo had an illustrious career where he met many
footballers and had tough competition from them. It looks like Ronaldo will
dominate here at Al-Nassr as the competition here at Al-Nassr is tougher than
Ronaldo's used to be. However, that may turn out to be wrong as his teammate
Anderson Talisca gets all the credit from his competition.
Ronaldo also captained the All Star Riyadh XI against Paris
Saint Germain who traveled to Saudi Arabia for their first friendly this year.
However Paris Saint Germain won the match that time with a score of 5-4. The
match also saw a dream between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo when they met
each other in a friendly match.
