India will face Bangladesh, hoping to regain their T20 World
Cup campaign, after defeating South Africa in their last match. So far, India
have played three matches, won two and lost one.
Bangladesh on the other hand have won two and lost one of
their first three outings. India, who are at the top of the rankings, are ahead
of Bangladesh due to net positive rate. However, the match could be taken as
Adelaide experienced heavy rain on the evening of the match. Adelaide Oval will
host the T20 World Cup Group 2 match between India and Bangladesh.
Both teams are trying to qualify for the semi-finals, so the
weather will play an important role in deciding the outcome of the team.
"Cloudy. Medium chance (60%) of rain, likely in the evening. Southwest
winds 20-30 kph,” read the forecast for Wednesday from the Australian Bureau of
Meteorology.
The forecast also shows that the temperature will change
between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius, and 0 to 2 mm of rain. Due to heavy rains in
the country, India's training sessions are also being brought forward.
As things progress, South Africa leads the group with five
goals, followed by India and Bangladesh who are second and third. Zimbabwe is
fourth with three points, while Pakistan is fifth with just two points.
The Netherlands is bottom of the table, without registering
a single point.
