Rohit will miss the opening series due to family commitments. The versatile
Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian team without Rohit in the 1st One Day
International (ODI) of the three-match series. Hosts India enter the opening

Bumrah, the hosts have a major setback in building the ODI series. Middle-order
batsman Shreyas Iyer was dismissed in the entire ODI series between India and
Australia. The Mumbai batsman has been ruled out of the ODI series due to a
recurring back injury. India have not named Iyer's replacement for the ODI series.
