"Nicholas Murali Pooran": Ian Bishop's rough tweet after West Indies captain gets 4 wickets against Pakistan

Nicholas Pooran has just won three vans at 42 ODI on Sunday. But in the third and final ODI against Pakistan in Multan, Captain West Indies Limited Overs took the game into his own hands and wrapped the net around Pakistani shots and finished with four wickets from his 10 overs.

And not like he was chasing his tails. His list of victims included the introductory Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman, in the form of Mohammad Rizwan and the new Mohammad Haris of the Middle Order.

His four goals helped keep West Indies Pakistan at 269/9 in 48 overs, as the game was shortened due to a dust storm.

His performance on the ball caused former Windies pedestrian Ian Bishop to cause a cheerful tweet.

"Nicholas Murali Pooran," he tweeted, with a flurry of emojis, leading to a laugh riot from his followers

For the uninitiated, the "Murali" was a joking reference to legendary Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.

Pooran's four wickets saw Pakistan wrestle 117/5 in 25 overs. However, Shadab Khan's great 78-ball 86 helped Pakistan reach a total of 269/9.

Imam-ul-Haq scored 62 before he fell victim to Pooran.

In this process, he became only the second batsman in the world to score seven consecutive more than fifty ODI points after compatriot Javed Miandad. Of course, Miandad still scored nine plus fifty points in a row, which remains a world record.

In the end, the score was more than enough for Pakistan, when it defeated the West Indies 216 and recorded a strong score of 3: 0.
